Papers of Abram M. Fridley, his wife Betsey, and their children Henry, Frank, David, and Mary. Abram Fridley was a Winnebago Indian agent, a lawyer, Minnesota territorial and state legislator, farmer, merchant, and a land agent of the St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company (SPPR) and its successor, the St. Paul, Minneapolis and Manitoba Railway Company. He and his family were pioneers of the Fridley Township (Anoka County) area and were active in local politics and business, especially real estate and general merchandising.
